Why we've partnered with Machine Tracking:
Manufacturing can be a challenging business. Making something is never easy. There are a myriad of interconnected steps required from raw materials, to components, to machines, to people to oversee and track it all...whew!
Our technology advising work with manufacturing companies often starts high-level, as it should, around the business needs and opportunities for a company to become more efficient and profitable. We dig into a manufacturer's data, systems, and software to understand and make recommendations on how to best leverage technology to advance the company. A piece that is often missing is machine up/down time and production data. In other words, what's really happening with the production equipment, when, and why? Without this production and operational data connecting the dots for manufacturers is hard and elevating their software and systems to be able to manage the business in real-time is almost impossible.
To help manufacturers to overcome the equipment and production data gap, we're partnering with Machine Tracking. Machine Tracking provides an easy and affordable way for manufacturers to know when a piece of equipment is being used and to what extent. The equipment and production data from the Machine Tracking device can feed operational dashboards for improved management of production in real time, as well as provide data for better forecasting which helps to serve customers better and plan work better.
The Machine Tracking data also fills important gaps in the data stack for manufacturers giving them more data to feed into their ERP, WMS, TMS, and other systems for a more complete picture of how the company is performing.
We're excited to be partnering with the Machine Tracking team to bring deeper equipment and production data to manufacturers. We'd love to show you how Machine Tracking works and how it can be an important component to improved data knowledge for your manufacturing company to help you maximize the potential of your equipment and operation.
